Andy White has a passion for all things creative, and he's repeatedly commissioned by market leaders to design and illustrate ideas for dynamic Displays, Attractions and Events.
Throughout his childhood, he was rarely seen without a pencil in his hand, or glue on him somewhere. He studied 3D Design at The University of Hertfordshire, and began his career as a Special Effects Modelmaker for Films, TV and Advertising in 1994, creating miniatures and props for "The Crystal Maze", "Lost In Space", and "Entrapment" to name a few.
Between productions, Andy designed and made working Product prototypes, including toy vehicles and equipment for Action Man, and numerous Play-Doh accessories for Hasbro UK.
Drawing on all of this experience (no pun intended!) Andy moved comfortably into the field of "Themed Entertainment", working with The Tussauds Studios Group (now Merlin) on projects for Madame Tussauds, Alton Towers and Thorpe Park.
Themed Retail comissions also came in from the Disney Store, to design large scale installations for "The Incredibles" and "The Chronicles of Narnia" at Oxford Street, London, and throughout the UK. Andy has a working relationship with Harrods, London, producing concept designs for a variety of special projects and events throughout the store.
Andy is now in his 17th "sell-out" year, and works from his own design studio. He is happily married, and lives in Hertfordshire with his Wife, dog, pencils, paper, and glue!
